Payrot / THE DETAILS

Privacy policy

What Payrot records when you visit: a server log line and nothing else, no cookies and no analytics, how long logs are kept and your rights.

Last updated 5 October 2026. This page explains what Payrot records when you visit payrot.co.uk, why it does so, and what you can do about it.

1. Data controller

Payrot, at payrot.co.uk, is responsible for the personal data described on this page.

The company behind the site and a contact address are not decided yet. This section will give both once they are set.

2. Our principles

We collect as little as we can and keep it for as short a time as we can.

Payrot is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.

3. What data we collect and on what basis

You do not need to give us anything to read the site. There are no accounts, sign-up forms or newsletters.

Our web server writes one line to its access log for each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the response status and size, the page that sent you and your browser’s user agent. Problems are written to a separate error log.

We keep these logs to run the site and protect it from misuse, which is our legitimate interest as its operator. They are not used for analytics or advertising.

The site runs no analytics and sets no cookies. Our cookie policy gives the detail.

4. Third parties and external links

The pages load nothing from outside servers. Fonts, images and logos are served from our own server, so your browser does not contact another company while you read a page.

The server is a virtual private server rented from AlexHost, which provides the machine the site runs on.

We may have to hand over data where the law requires it, for example in answer to a valid court order.

Links to casino websites, help services and other sites take you to pages run by those organisations, and their own privacy policies apply there. When you follow such a link, your browser tells the other site only that you came from payrot.co.uk, not which page you were reading.

5. Transfers outside the UK

The server is in Moldova, so the server logs are held outside the UK.

6. Retention and data security

Web server logs on the server are rotated daily and 14 rotated logs are kept, so a log line is deleted after about two weeks.

Every page is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Because the site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, the log line is the only personal data it records.

7. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. You can also ask us to limit how we use it, object to us using it, or receive it in a form you can pass to someone else.

In practice, the only data we hold is a server log line, which we can find only if you give us your IP address and the date and time of your visit. After about two weeks it is gone.

To use a right, you will need our contact address. It is not decided yet, so we cannot take requests today; it will appear on this page once it is set.

8. Right to complain

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, through its complaints page.

9. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. How you may use the site is set out in our terms of use.
